About ‘A Midsummer’s Night Dream’

When the forces of nature meet the power of love, it’s going to be a night to remember. They say ‘the course of true love never did run smooth.’ Too right.

Four love-sick teens run away to an enchanted forest, where the fairy King and Queen are at war. In the forest, the players – including Bottom – are rehearsing for a play, against all the odds. Meanwhile, wild spirit Puck works with the fairy King to wreak havoc, and chaos ensues!

Infused with mischief and mayhem, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is the story of feuding lovers and magic, a forest and a donkey.

This is a Shakespeare’s Globe production presented at the Clapham Park Cube in partnership with Clapham Park Creative Co-op, Counterpoints Arts and Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing.
