We have a new job opportunity for a young creative to join our team.
We have a new job opportunity for a young creative to join our team.
Postcards Across The River
It's our final photo embroidery workshop on the 27th March. We have been embroidering our way through the estate all lockdown and will look forward to showing off the fruits of our efforts very soon. Thank you to all who have joined in on zoom, and in person (when restrictions were eased). Get your cup of tea, your needle, photo and some thread and join in with us on Saturday. (Link to register in bio)
Here in Clapham Park, we will never forget the events of the past two weeks and the abduction of Sarah Everard from Poynders Road. Cressida Dick assured the world that this was 'rare', and yet it happened here. The events that have unfolded in the last two weeks will stay with this community forever. The generational impact it will have on women in our area will most likely last a long time. It's time for reform. It's time for change. A council can put up as much street lighting as they want to help women feel safer, but until men accept that the change lies with them understanding consent, women will continue to walk home alone in the dark.
We will be looking forward to everyone with the art kits participating in our zoom online with our very special guests @eltatextiles @soniatuttiett! It’s not too late to sign up. Please visit our website to register.
